Advertising and affiliate disclosure
The US Federal Trade Commission requires that a material connection between a publisher and the things it recommends be disclosed clearly and conspicuously — next to the recommendation, not buried on a page like this one. So this page is the long version, and you will also see a short version sitting directly beside every list of clinics on this site.
Paid clinic listings
Some clinics pay us a flat monthly advertising fee for featured placement.
A featured listing sorts above organic listings and carries a visible Featured badge on the card itself. The price is published, and it is the same everywhere in the country — $150 a month for one ZIP code, billed a year in advance. One clinic per ZIP.
We are not paid per patient. Not per booking, not per phone call, not per form fill, and not as a share of what the facility charges you. The fee is the same whether you book or not. We have no way of knowing whether you booked, and we do not want one.
Organic listings are not for sale
Most listings on this site are not paid. We add facilities because they do coronary calcium scoring at a published cash price, and nobody pays us for that. A facility cannot buy its way into a lower price on its card, out of an unflattering one, or off the site. Verification is free and buying an ad does not change what we publish.
Affiliate links
There are none on this site right now. We earn nothing from any outbound link. The clinic websites and phone numbers on a listing are there because that is the information you came for, not because anyone pays us for the click.
If that changes — a lab panel, say — the unit will be visually distinct from a clinic listing, labeled as paid, and carry the disclosure inline next to it rather than only here. An affiliate relationship would never put a product into a clinic listing, and no advertiser writes or reviews editorial copy on this site.
Display advertising
Display advertising is not currently enabled. If we turn it on, ad units
will be visually distinct from clinic cards, labeled Ad, kept out of the
score-interpretation pages, and this page and the
privacy page will be updated before they go
live.
